Act To Thrive

More than just Psychotherapy

ACT to Thrive is the sum of why we are here.
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (also abbreviated as ACT, not A-C-T), a behavioral therapy that is different from traditional approaches. Using this method, I provide individuals with strategies and tools to better handle difficult, unhelpful feelings, thoughts, and sensations (private events). The heart of ACT lies in taking action toward what truly matters, despite the presence of discomfort, so you can live a fulfilled and meaningful life—or in other words, Thrive.

This approach both validates life’s experiences and enables positive change and growth. By acknowledging and accepting what is outside of our control, we create space for taking committed, value-driven action toward what matters most.

In practice, I combine the principles of ACT with my expertise in other health domains such as nutrition, fitness, mindfulness, and traditional medicine. This integrative approach ensures that your journey to well-being addresses both mind and body, helping you create lasting, meaningful change.

At ACT to Thrive, we offer a variety of ways to support you, including online one-on-one sessions, on-demand programs, self-paced courses, and a newsletter packed with tools and tips. If you’d like to learn more about how ACT can help you thrive, explore our programs or get in touch today.

How We ACT to Help You Take ACTion

At ACT to Thrive, we understand that life’s challenges—whether it’s feeling stuck, overwhelmed at work, or struggling with weight and health—can make you feel like you’re spinning your wheels. Rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), our approach is based on the idea that you can live well, even in the face of life's challenges. By helping you break free from unhelpful patterns and take meaningful actions, we support you in building a fulfilling life—despite the obstacles.

We offer personalized one-on-one sessions, small group coaching, and unique on-demand programs tailored to meet your needs. Whether you're interested in "Mindful Eating but Not Mindful of What You Eat," where we explore the deeper relationship with food, or "When You Face a Storm—and No, You Won't Hear 'Be Positive,'" focusing on resilience through difficult times, our programs provide practical solutions without the clichés.

For professionals, we also offer an ACT-based program designed to help you thrive in the workplace—because navigating stress and challenges at work often requires more than just productivity tips.
