Meet Adi
Certified Health Coach & ACT psychotherapist
For over 23 years, I’ve been deeply immersed in the health and wellness industry. I began my journey by completing a BA in Traditional Chinese Medicine and working as a health coach and personal trainer, helping clients achieve their physical goals and overall well-being. However, throughout my practice, I quickly realized how much mental health plays a role—not only for my clients but in my own life as well.
I noticed patterns in myself, like avoiding situations, not dealing with problems head-on, and reacting to anxiety or frustration through behaviors like binge eating or withdrawing. Negative self-talk became an unhelpful companion. Traditional therapies helped to some extent, but it wasn’t until I discovered Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) during my mental health postgraduate studies that things started to shift.
ACT changed the way I relate to my thoughts, emotions, and what truly matters in life. It not only helped me break through personal barriers but also allowed me to grow my business in a way that felt authentic and meaningful. I’ve experienced firsthand how powerful this approach can be, which is why I’ve integrated it into my practice. My aim is to help others apply ACT principles and strategies, making meaningful, lasting changes that improve their overall well-being and lead to a more fulfilling life. In other words, Thrive.
